The Finance AI Program is looking for a program manager to support our AI transformation efforts.  Our team supports the entire Finance organization.  Our goal is to ensure everyone from the CFO to our new hires can answer the question “How is Finance using AI?” (Agents, GenAI, Machine Learning, etc).  We also support projects through coaching, governance, and standard processes.  This role will be pivotal in driving the integration of AI technologies within our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, AI systems, and excellent communication skills.

This role is hybrid and connects in the office 3 days per week.

Your Impact:

• Meet with project teams to capture updates and summarize progress for the Finance department and leadership.

• Assist project teams in crafting comprehensive documentation.  Similar to putting together a report for a science project you will be helping teams optimally communicate their project and how AI is being used.

• Provide guidance to project teams on navigating AI projects effectively.  This may include some initial data analysis, help selecting AI tools, and coaching through standard processes for AI projects.

• Conduct training and enablement sessions on AI for the Finance department.

• Maintain and upgrade the AI project library and metrics dashboard.

• Help maintain program content, documentation, and internal site.

• Build and maintain a network of AI teams and professionals across Finance and across Salesforce to help connect the dots between teams.

• Stay up to date, summarize, and share the latest developments in AI and industry best practices (e.g. white papers, blogs, podcasts, webinars). 

Required Experience:

• 5 + years of proven experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields

• Project Management: Ability to manage several projects at the same time, capture updates, and ensure projects meet set time lines.

• Process Improvement: AI is a tool that we are exploring to improve the way we work and to identify new opportunities.  Process improvement skills will be foundational to coaching partners through the process of turning the seed of an idea into a progressive solution.

• Collaborative Problem Solving: Collaborate with partners to understand business requirements and coach them through the process of exploring AI solutions. 

• Change Management: Ability to work with collaborators and leadership to get buy-in to the designed solutions and to drive business impact

• Reporting: throughout the process will put together reporting for model performance, user adoption, and program metrics 

• Independent and able to work with ambiguity:  Many projects and requirements are vague and require the ability to independently push forward and find solutions with minimal direction.

• Executive Level Communication: You should be able to demonstrate the ability to speak to an executive level audience and summarize technical content, project, and portfolio progress.  You should also be comfortable speaking in front of large groups.

• Technical Communication:  You should be able to demonstrate the ability to connect the dots between technical details and key project stakeholders.  You will need to partner with the IT organization to move projects forward.

Ideal Experience:

• Fluent in prototyping AI solutions, testing machine learning models, and wrangling small/medium sized datasets

• Experience with Salesforce (Tableau, Slack, Einstein, Data Cloud, etc..)

• Experience with Snowflake
