Ecolab is seeking a Finance Administration Analyst to provide support to all divisions aligned to Shared Services. The position is accountable for finance adminsitration activities as well as new associate training, and may provide additional high-level support to other finance administration teams. This position supports problem resolution processes that require critical thinking and “big picture” decision-making skills related to customer issue resolution. Role works within policy guidelines to improve processes and reduce risk. Position acts as key liaison with both internal and external customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Adheres to company and department policies utilizing function SOPs and DTPs in daily activities
  • Respond to escalated requests as needed and work to end-to-end resolution
  • Use critical thinking and analytical skills to develop and maintain key reporting metrics
  • Reporting and process ownership, maintaining key metrics, and working to resolution
  • Communicate key information to key stakeholders within and across teams
  • Maximizes use of processes and systems to manage risk and accelerate productivity
  • Develop deep knowledge of customer processes.
  • Leverages extensive process knowledge across business systems to recognize process deficiencies and leads development and implementation procedural changes to improve productivity and service levels.
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with external/internal teams
  • Maintains a positive, professional manner using appropriate business communication.
  • Demonstrates urgency to resolve issues with associates, internal and external customers.
  • Uses sound judgment in decisions and interactions.
  • Leverage SLAs and KPIs to drive daily activity.
  • Subject matter expert and resource for ad hoc project support.
  • Provide coaching and first line problem resolution assistance to team members.
  • Achieves individual objectives related to SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Openly accepts feedback and eager to learn new responsibilities.
  • Actively pursues opportunities to develop and leverages PP&D.
  • Other responsibilities as defined.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Four years previous experience in credit, finance/accounting or related field may be substituted in part.
  • No immigration sponsorship available.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain customer loyalty while working through the resolution process.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Needs to be self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excel and Access.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems- SAP, AS400.
