Are you our new Finance & Accounting Controller?
As a Finance & Accounting Controller at Intrum in Athens, your primary responsibility will be to oversee accounting transactions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will manage budgeting & forecasting processes, reconcile financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
What will you do:
- Oversee and manage all accounting transactions and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls and internal policies and processes
- Prepare monthly and/or quarterly VAT returns and other other submissions to Authorities
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with auditors.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including reviewing recharging methodology and adjustments.
- Conduct monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reviews, variance analysis, and financial risk assessments.
- Conduct audit processes and assessments to mitigate financial risks. Support audit process and present relevant documentation of Transfer Pricing Documentation Report
- Work closely with Global Tax and Legal, contribute to preparation of SLA’s with countries and review recharges on regular basis
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in relevant discipline
- Bachelor's Degree In Accounting/Finance
- A’ class signatory right
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent English language skills
- Analysis/problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Integrity and ability to work in team and cooperate with others
- Ability to work under limited supervision or individually
It’s a plus if you bring :
- Knowledge of Workday, Navision, Exflow accounting system
- Experience with Reporting Packages
