An accountant at KONE performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. We are looking for an accountant with curiosity to learn, grow and develop within a fast-paced organization.
Main job responsibilities:
- Support Chief Accountant/Finance Controller in assigned task in the area of P2P (Purchase to Pay), intercompany transactions and taxes
- Independently deal with problems within the assigned area
- Focus on constant improvement of the processes
- Active participation in external audit process and local reporting requirements
- Deal with stakeholders across KONE within assigned processes and issues resolution
- Be part of the team in implementing new processes and digital/system solutions
- Support business colleagues and cooperate with them on dedicated projects
- Cooperate with local banks and KONE Treasury
Professional Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of the IFRS and Serbian accounting and tax law
- Proficient user of MS Office tools (especially Excel, e.g., pivot)
- University degree in accounting, finance, economics or in a relevant field (preferred, not a prerequisite)
- SAP knowledge and experience is an advantage
