Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing and empowering territory managers and merchandisers within the North Island. You will deliver excellence execution in line with the company strategy and uphold Heinz values in a way that contributes the companies vision.
Key responsibilities

  • Strengthen the base of the business across the central North Island.
  • Expert in interpreting, selling, and presenting with data and insights.
  • Expectation to travel regularly and the ability to coach, mentor and develop the field team and lead by example.
  • Provide category and store reviews led by the consumer and shopper insights.
  • On-shelf executive in line with merchandising strategies and have speed to market with all new products.
  • Establish and strengthen partnerships/ relationships both internally and externally and continue to surpass expectations.
  • Point of escalation for all Territory and Territory Account Managers
  • Own the hiring for the team and responsibility for inductions, succession planning, coaching and development.
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.


About you

  • Min 5 years sales experience with a blue-chip fast-moving consumer goods company (FMCG) with a proven track record / sales experience with key international or local retailers
  • Ability to translate data and use it to upsell, influence or leverage with a customer
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Leadership skills, capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers and internal teams
  • Experience in Foodstuffs is essential
  • Bachelor Degree - Marketing, Business or a similar discipline is desirable
  • 5+ year's in a Field, Retail or Business Development role
