What You'll do...
You will be the Marketing lead for Japan, responsible for building and executing a strategy and an integrated marketing plan aimed to generate pipeline and influence existing opportunities. You will work closely with both marketing and sales leadership to plan and execute specific targeted activities. This role reports into the Head of Global Field Marketing.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Leading and executing Shift Technology’s marketing strategy and tactics for both Japan and APAC, and ensuring alignment between marketing programs and sales objectives
- Developing, executing and managing activities aimed to either generate pipeline or influence open opportunities. This includes events, webinars, ABM campaigns, integrated online campaigns, social media, partner marketing, etc
- Tailoring corporate and global marketing programs to align with your territory and industry needs
- Track campaign results, measure program success, and report metrics. Work with marketing operations to ensure end-to-end program tracking
- Marketing impact on sales pipeline for Japan and APAC
- Website updates
- Identify relevant content & topics for the Japanese market and manage localization
What You Bring...
The position requires an independent, results-oriented professional with expertise in marketing enterprise software solutions. We operate in an environment that requires everyone to assume both strategic and tactical execution responsibilities.
- 8-10 years of software technology B-to-B marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to build field marketing strategies and integrated marketing plans which include events, digital campaigns, social media, PR to attract, engage, convert, influence and delight potential customers
- Build and manage highly targeted digital campaigns
- Create and run ABM activities
- Identify most relevant events and trade shows according to objectives, strategy, resources and budget
- Prepare, execute, manage and follow-up each event in all its digital and non-digital aspects
- Ability to present and position marketing plans and concepts to peers and to the regional sales teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High energy, enthusiasm and initiative
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and Hubspot is preferred. 6sense would be a plus.
