Role Overview

As Field Marketing Manager within the EMEA Central Marketing Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing activities that drive brand awareness and pipeline generation across Germany. This role requires a growth mindset, combined with storytelling, communication and strong execution capabilities that drive impact.

You will partner with the regional field and channel sales, local and EMEA marketing team to execute against local objectives and strengthen Veeam's position in the market.

Your tasks will include:

Strategic Planning, Execution & Innovation

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities to inform strategic planning and campaign development
  • Obsess and educate about with regional customer personas, preferences and buying behaviors
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing programs for the German market, ensuring alignment with overall regional and global marketing objectives
  • Strong collaboration with channel marketing, understanding of the indirect sales model and channel business to identify opportunities and successful campaigns.
  • Create and execute local integrated marketing campaigns that drive both demand generation and brand preference
  • Partner with the EMEA marketing team to adapt and implement campaigns for the local market
  • Align with EMEA Marketing to drive ABM (Account-Based Marketing) initiatives for strategic accounts
  • Identify and partner with local market players with complementary or adjacent solutions to drive demand and increase customer value

Monitoring, Analysis & Optimization

  • Partner with sales leadership to analyze pipeline metrics and develop targeted marketing initiatives that accelerate deal closure
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reporting on KPIs and ROI
  • Collaborate with SDR and field sales teams to optimize lead handling and ensure effective signal management

Relationship Building

  • Educate sales and channel teams about local customer buying behaviors and B2B marketing developments across German markets
  • Drive alignment and stakeholder management across sales, channel, and EMEA peers

Event and Community Building

  • Deliver impactful customer & partner experiences and engagements in collaboration with global and EMEA marketing and event teams
  • Manage vendor relationships and budget for event execution
  • Initiate and drive local Data Resilience Community concepts in the German market

What we expect from you:

  • High energy self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • 4-5 years of B2B marketing experience, collaborating closely with sales and channel, preferably in SaaS and/or IT companies
  • Prior experience with CRM and Marketing Automation systems – including for lead and opportunity tracking and campaign management
  • Curiosity and passion for customers, partners, and marketing trends, with ability to effectively communicate messages to target audiences.
  • Understanding of the indirect sales models and channel partner landscape and go to market.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal
  • Results-oriented with an insights-driven approach
