About this Position

Life Commissions department is seeking a detail-oriented professional, who is enthusiastic about new challenges, career advancement, learning new skills and building beneficial relationships. The Operations Processor 1 works in the Field Compensation Department and is responsible for commission related inquiries and research for Life products.
Hours: 9am - 6pm
Estimated salary range for this role is: 35K - 40K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • The role responds to e-mail and telephone inquiries from both the Field and Management.
  • Responsible for verifying set up of withholding orders, severing as backup for processing withholding orders, and additional manual processes, to include Accounting for ACH returns and miscellaneous accounting as needed.
  • Expected to cross train on additional tasks within the team and serve as backup when needed.
  • The aspirant may assist with commission related research for Compliance and/or Legal.
  • Additional responsibilities may include preparing Microsoft excel spreadsheets and interacting with various groups within and outside of Field Compensation.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent accounting, analytical, math, and PC skills
  • Excellent attention to detail is required
  • Excellent organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management as well as with technical personnel
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Expertise in Excel is a plus
  • Ability to work weekend(one Saturday per month) and overtime as needed
  • Detail policy knowledge is a plus
