Field Application Specialist - Remote

In the Field Application Specialist role, you will be responsible for offering product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support at each step of the customer's process and for bringing the products' technical expertise and market knowledge to the sales team.

Sartorius has an exciting remote-based opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to provide high-level, in-depth technical support and expertise to Sales Managers in selling Sartorius Octet Products through pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, installations, and post-sales support. Territory: Southern California and Arizona

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Direct collaboration with Sales Managers to sell Sartorius Octet products in a joint team setting.
• Provide high-level technical support for clients' support requests and troubleshooting needs by providing guidance and knowledge on specific application needs and recommending assay development solutions.
• Provide technically sound and detailed presentations of Sartorius Octet products at promotional venues and high-level scientific meetings, including on-site seminars, trade shows, and user meetings.
• Travel to client sites to perform installation, product demonstration, troubleshooting on assay development, and post-sales support.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for Sartorius Octet product improvement through client support.
• Valid Driver License with a good driving record
• Willing to travel overnight up to 50% as required

What will convince us:

• A bachelor's degree in life science, biochemistry, or a related field
• Customer support and training experience in technical material is preferred.
• 4+ years of laboratory research using label-free assays such as SPR, BLI, ITC, or equivalent technology
• Demonstrated aptitude towards the selling process and a confirmed teammate. Must be results and success-oriented with proven ability to organize, develop, and follow through on tasks and plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to articulate effectively with external clients and internal teams.

Base salary offered for the position is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 depending on experience. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
