  • Lead customers through the installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of robotic vision systems while onsite.
  • Deliver on-the-job training to customers to ensure effective use of Apera’s solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services both onsite and remotely.
  • Monitor system performance during initial production runs, resolving issues and optimizing processes to ensure system reliability.
  • Document and maintain detailed customer records within Apera’s business systems and provide regular status updates to the onboarding team and customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales to assess the feasibility of potential applications for Apera solutions with new and existing customers.
  • Partner with CSMs and Onboarding Project Managers to support and expand Apera’s customer base.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing the time and effort required for system installation and commissioning.
  • Contribute to the design of robotic work cells using Apera’s AI-powered vision software, leveraging your technical expertise and creativity.
  • Provide actionable feedback to the engineering team to influence product development and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure that all business activities are conducted with the highest ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems design, or controls, or a technologist diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to travel 75%, including international travel which is primarily to Canada and Mexico.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice, and weekend work as needed.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation, mechatronics, controls, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (a second language is a bonus).
  • Proven working knowledge of robotics, machine controls, automation principles, and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

Preferred Qualifications
