Join our Sales Department as a Field Account Manager in Bioprocess Solutions.

We are looking for an Account Manager for our Sales department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for commercial activities, manage a global key account, as well as other smaller regional accounts for our bioprocess portfolio.

You will be based from home ideally living in Copenhagen, Denmark or within 2 hours travel of Copenhagen. You will be required to travel 20%-40% to customers sites, trainings, or sales meetings.

Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities

  • Understand customers’ needs to proactively promote the full range of the bioprocess portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets by both in – person and remote interaction to assigned customers

  • Identify key decision makers, develop prospects, maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce) and build and further develop relationships

  • Managing the account and relationships with different functions and hierarchy level within the accounts, upselling and increasing revenue

  • Identify new business opportunities both within upstream and downstream bioprocessing

  • Liaise with internal teams such as Application Specialists, Order Process Management, Sales Support, Marketing to utilise resources to support value offerings throughout the entire sales process

  • Collaborate with cross functional team to implement global account strategies to support the customer and gain market share

  • Conducting presentations, demos, negotiations, generate quotations and respond to customer enquiries

  • Present and drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

  • Pursue continuous improvement in collaboration and way of working with the customer

What will convince us

  • MSc degree in life sciences or engineering or equivalent would be preferred, higher level qualification would be beneficial

  • Good understanding of biotechnology industry and bioprocessing solutions

  • Demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharma industry would be beneficial

  • Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills

  • Have excellent record management skills, use of CRM would be advantageous

  • Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self – motivated and results oriented

  • Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast – paced environment and embrace change

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team

  • Fluency in English is a must, Danish and/or Swedish is a plus
