Department OverviewFinance Federal Credit Team
Job Description

This role will be on a hybrid schedule and will be in office at least 1 time per week

In this role, you will:

  • Heads the Federal Credit Division, ensuring meticulous management of order verification, invoicing, and receivables for federal accounts

  • Strategically directs the efficiency and promptness of the team's deliverables

  • Collaborates closely with top-tier executives of the Federal department team to align business strategies

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for procedural enhancements and leads the charge in implementing transformative changes, including team automation where beneficial

  • Efficiently manages and resolves high-priority issues within the Federal sector

  • Offers inspiring leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and bolstering their capabilities

  • Designs, enacts, and upholds operational protocols and policies, reinforcing the company's compliance standards

  • Oversees the talent acquisition process for the Federal Credit Team, and commits to the continuous training and performance assessment of staff

  • Aids in achieving cash collection goals, while ensuring that forecast precision consistently meets the expected benchmarks

Additional Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting 

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in as a team lead or people manager

  • Experience in Finance business partnering and/or financial planning and analysis (forecasting, modeling)

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills. Familiarity with building complex financial models and manipulating large datasets to help the company make strategic recommendations

  • Excellent critical thinking, communication and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and developing creative solutions to business questions. When asked to deliver or solve for “X”, you’re keeping your eyes out for how to recommend the opportunities for “Y” and “Z”

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, be additive when and where you can, and support broader team tasks

  • Elevated pride of ownership in work product

Compensation

  • This role will carry a base pay range of $80,000 to $90,000

  • This role will be eligible to also receive an annual bonus and annual merit increases


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree and 3+ years of finance or accounting experience with 1+ year(s) of experience in as a team lead or people manager
