FC Operations Supervisor Role:

The FC Operations Supervisor position is directly responsible for the day to day operations. You will oversee several Warehouse Associates while reporting directly to the Director of Fulfillment. This is a front line leadership role that requires you to perform the same tasks as those you oversee which include receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will delegate work to team members that will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. A keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. You will trouble shoot in the moment and work across multiple departments to meet the needs of customers.

FC Operations Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delegate responsibilities but will directly perform the same tasks as those you assign tasks to
• Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Prepare products for shipping
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
• Maintain adequate levels of supplies for your specific area including corrugated material, paper, labels, safety knives and marketing materials
• Interact with management and team members in other departments to plan, execute and report on initiatives
• Actively look for efficiency gains, process improvements and potential shortfalls
• Troubleshoot problem orders
• Take part in organizational meetings, as needed
• Manage supplies
• Participate in human resource meetings including coaching sessions and disciplinary action meetings
• Manage the day to day operation in the absence of the Warehouse Manager or Director of Fulfillment
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

FC Operations Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of inventory control experience, preferably direct-to-consumer

• 2-3 years as a lead or supervisor

• Must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule. Weekend availability may be required due to seasonality.

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to understand the inventory and order management systems and train team members

• Ability to learn the current process quickly and to identify process improvement opportunities

• Associate’s degree preferred or combination of education and work experience will be considered

This is a full time position with an hourly rate of $22.00 - $24.00 DOE
