Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Facilities Teams play a vital role in maintaining our sites around the world. UL Solutions' Denmark facility in Ballerup is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to assist with maintaining all office equipment, physical spaces, vendors and on-site property.
This position is ideally suited to someone who has a proven background in facilities or construction / property maintenance and excels at providing a high level of customer service.
This position will handle building equipment emergencies on an ongoing basis and serve as a liaison between company employees and outside vendors who are called-in to fix problems. This position will report directly to the EMEA Senior Facilities Manager and supports the needs of locations within Denmark and support the EMEA regional facilities team through a variety of administrative and facilities related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the handling of the day-to-day facility issues and questions from ULS employees, visitors, or vendors.
• Handling of janitorial service, maintenance/repair requests and preventative maintenance through third party vendor.
• Review quotes from our third-party facility maintenance vendors and coordinating the scheduling of the approved repairs.
• Assist with vendors servicing the office, to ensure vendors are properly onboarded through ULS procurement and ensure finance policies are followed.
• Contact and discuss facility issues with Landlords and to make sure the repairs are being taken care of in a timely manner.
• Handle and coordinate the repairs, maintenance or replacement of signage, furniture and filing cabinets.
• Assist with ordering furniture, signage, shred bins, water coolers and necessary supplies for new and existing branches.
• Assist with reported security issues in the office and coordinating appropriate communication.
• Assist with projects around remodels, relocations, and business unit demands.
• Act as a Facilities advocate for the local Denmark ULS operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A High School Diploma (or equivalent) or GED Certificate is required.
• In the region of 5 years' experience in facilities, construction, or maintenance environments.
• Proven experience of providing exceptional customer service
• Explaining and applying policies and procedures
• Experience of using tools, equipment, materials, and common practices used in facility preparation
• Ability to prioritse workload
• Able to interpret written oral instructions
• Outstanding communication skills, both with internal teams and with external vendors.
