Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Power Platform & Fabric Specialist to join our team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power BI, to develop innovative solutions that drive business efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Power Apps solutions to automate business processes and improve productivity
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Leverage Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Notebooks, and Dataflows, to streamline data integration and analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Power Platform solutions
• Optimize existing Power Apps and Power BI, and Fabric solutions for performance and user experience
• Implement data modeling techniques and write complex DAX formulas and M queries to support advanced analytics
• Ensure data security and compliance within Power Platform solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on Power Apps and Power BI usage
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Microsoft Power Platform and Fabric.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Apps and Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Strong proficiency in developing and deploying Power Apps solutions
• Expertise in creating and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Notebooks, Data Pipelines, and Dataflows
• Solid understanding of data analysis, visualization techniques, and business intelligence concepts
• Proficient in SQL, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M language
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 suite integration
• Knowledge of business process automation and data-driven decision-making principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate certification (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (preferred)
