Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Our company is growing rapidly and is hiring for a full-stack Software Engineer Lead to support our AI/data solutions team. This individual will be part of a team that is using cutting edge technology to build solutions that works with large volumes of data across multiple platforms. They will partner with our team of data scientists, data gurus, and product owners to deliver products that will help drive decision making. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for translating business requirements and building machine learning models through all phases of development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Participation in user interviews to understand technical and customer needs.
- Lead projects to develop solutions for Palantir Use Cases
- Developing front end of data application for Palantir Foundry
- Creating data pipelines using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
- Creating and managing data modeling objects
- Analyzing data using tools like Code Workbook, Contour and Quiver
- Establishing data connections, building data health monitors, and analyzing data lineage
- Managing request for customer facing applications built within machine learning technologies.
- Being a visionary who can translate business needs, challenges and requirements into solutions that deliver value to the organization.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, software development, or technical consulting
- 5+ years’ experience in AI, machine learning, and model development and deployment
- Proven experience with Palantir software solutions
- Knowledge of analyzing data using tools like Code Workbook, Contour and Quiver
- Strong leadership and project management skills
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Hands-on experience with data science tools
- Ability to write scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Typescript, SQL, PySpark
- Problem Solving Aptitude
- Continuously researches and evaluates emerging technologies.
- Excellent Communication skills
Preferred: Strong background in the following areas:
- Experience in software engineering
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
