We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert in SAP Analytics to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support in the areas of SAP Business Warehouse and Embedded Analytics (CDS Views), collaborating with developers to ensure efficient and effective solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of business process knowledge and application expertise in SAP BW and Embedded Analytics (CDS Views). You will be responsible for validating design and effort estimates, approving/rejecting change requests, reviewing and approving user requirements, design documents, and functional/technical specifications, and developing analytical solutions. Additionally, you will actively participate in key projects and assist in scoping for new demands while providing advisory support to the business on SAP solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead functional and technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of functionalities, including integration with key applications, in an SAP BI Analytics space.
- Lead architecture design reviews, the product roadmap and product strategy definition in their area.
- Develop a deep understanding of Sanofi business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, break high-level requirements into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs, translating these into documented architecture solutions.
- Document systems and process requirements through meetings, workshops, and job shadowing.
- Contribute to the development, configure and implementing the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements.
- Proactively work on the resolution of blocking issues and interdependencies and update the architecture and design guidance.
- Collaborate with other architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency, ensuring coverage of operational, statutory, and legal requirements.
- Business continuity comes first: in the event of a crippling incident stopping business operations, able to manage the resolution as highest level of support within the company in their field.
- Conduct in-depth BW and S/4 System and reports analysis to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and develop comprehensive proposals for resolution, driving issues to closure.
- Identify cross-GBU synergies in existing reports and analytics solutions, propose optimized approaches to drive better business outcomes, and develop innovative solutions to enhance analytical capabilities for better decision-making and results.
About you
Experience
- 10+ years of SAP BI experience in total with 4+ years of experience doing ERP delivery in a business-oriented context, preferably in a global company.
- Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining SAP BW, Embedded Analytics (CDS Views) & SAC, AFO, WEBI (or any other BI Tool).
- Worked closely with Management to define a strategy for these skills in at least one of the above areas.
- Should have good knowledge of functional modules like FI, SD, MM, PP, PM, eWM.
- Significant team management experience, able to provide supervision, guidance and coaching to more junior employees working in the same field.
- ERP transformation experience in a global company
- Executive-level communication and engagement skills, both written and verbal
- Strong configuration experience, ability to determine when to use configuration vs. code as well as advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide efforts and cost estimates, and manage delivery the desired functionality.
- Maintain a high level of quality while working on complex problems under pressure and deadlines.
- Guide Data Migration teams with master data & transactional data loads.
- Project management experience; continuous improvement skills and mindset
- Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
- Deep understanding of Application and Technology Architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is a must in the Embedded Analytics context.
- Knowledge of agile ways of working is a plus.
- Knowledge of current ERP software trends in their area of expertise is a plus.
- Knowledge of Snowflake and IICS for integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI ML capabilities is a plus.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering
