Sanofi is globally deploying its new core model cross-functional system processes - covering back office and manufacturing across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP& Analytics landscape (iSHIFT project) using SAP S4/HANA, BW4/HANA, Business Object (BI4) and SAP Analytics Cloud technology.

We are seeking a skilled SAP Analytics Cloud and Business Objects Administrator to join our team and manage our analytics platforms. You will play a vital role in platforms governance, providing expert guidance and support in the implementation of our Global SAP Analytics collaborating with the development team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the business continuity of SAP Business Objects (BI4) and implementation of the new SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability
  • Lead the technical migration from SAP BI4 reporting landscape to SAP Analytics Cloud:
    • setup Sanofi-specific SAC Landscape
    • integration via Live Connection
    • enable story design for both laptop and mobile devices
    • analyze story performance and backend statistics
    • promote a fit-to-standard approach (avoiding custom widgets)
    • tenant administration
  • Develop and maintain data models, reports, stories, scripts and dashboards in SAC and BO.
  • Support and manage the Self-Service approach with the end users
  • Coordinate activities in case of any request to connect SAC to new source systems (in both live and import mode)
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
  • Strictly stick to the Sanofi guidelines for any new development in SAC (naming conventions, ways of working…)
  • Manage mail dispatching
  • Configure and manage user roles, permissions and security settings within SAC and BO.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and manage incident/cases with SAP
  • Conduct in-depth System and reports analysis to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and develop comprehensive proposals for resolution, driving issues to closure.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their analytics needs and provide technical support.
  • Stay current with SAC and BO updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve the platforms.
  • Explore and test new capabilities introduced by SAP with periodic updates
  • Identify cross-GBU synergies in existing reports and analytics solutions, propose optimized approaches to drive better business outcomes, and develop innovative solutions to enhance analytical capabilities for better decision-making and results.
  • Business continuity comes first: in the event of a crippling incident stopping business operations, able to manage the resolution as highest level of support within the company.

About you

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) of SAP Analytics Cloud, including administration, data modeling, story creation, scripting, and dashboard design.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Business Objects, including Web Intelligence, Lumira and AFO.
  • Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and other SAP analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BI4 (Webi, lumira, AFO).
  • Experience doing ERP delivery in a business-oriented context, preferably in a global company.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Deep understanding of Application and Technology Architecture.
  • Project management experience and agile mindset with continuous improvement skills.
  • Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
  • Experienced in matrix driven project teams/organizations.
  • Ability to read and manage Javascript and Python

Education
