Job Purpose:

You will be part of the Finance team and will have regular interactions with the business units managers.

Your role will be to prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc reporting and the annual budget, you will check and report at the end of each month that the actual figures are in line with the budget; you will work with the Business Units Managers to set up reporting, cost forecasting and action plans. You will monitor budgeting processes so that they are compliant with the company and Accounting standards and that they produce timely and accurate reporting of any financial information.

 

What will you do:

• Prepare reports, financial data consolidation;

• Perform financial data analysis in the context of company business to identify results, trends and financial forecasts;

• Revenue contracts project management and updating the projects database related to revenue from software implementation;

• Calculate the monthly accruals related to revenue from software implementation in accordance with revenue recognition principles of the Company;

• Controlling and reporting on software implementation contracts and projects profitability;

• Work closely with the Business Units and other departments;

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data provided by operational teams;

• Collaborate with the Accounting department to develop and follow up on budgets and monitor the actual financial situation;

• Operate according to company’s guidelines, contribute to the continuous improvement initiative regarding internal processes and policies, best practices and standards together with our support team;

• Communicate with different stakeholders on results.

What you need to succeed:

Advanced skills in the following domains:

• Finance and accounting according to statutory and IFRS reporting standards;

• Budgeting and cost control principles;

• Experience with Reporting Systems (Business Intelligence), good knowledge of Microsoft Office - especially Excel;

• Project Management;

• Previously working with an ERP System is an advantage;

• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills to effectively translate concepts and information;

• University degree in Finance / Accounting;

• 3+ years of experience in finance, ideally gained in financial controlling in an international company or in audit;

• Very organized and autonomous;

• Detailed oriented, critical thinking, problem-solving, ability to analyze financial statements, ability to exercise sound professional judgment, ability to plan, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines, ability to manage multiple projects at once in a changing environment;

• Strong team player;

• Good English writing and communication skills;

• ACCA or other qualification is a plus.
