Responsibilities
- Monthly/quarterly and yearly-end closings
- Record AP invoices and reimbursement of employee’s travel and expenses reports
- Reconciliation of all BS accounts and preparation of WP, including but not limited to: banking, customers, vendors, FA, accruals, prepaid expenses etc'
- Payments to vendors and government institutions globally
- Bank & Credit card reconciliations
- Perform extensive reviews of the externally prepared accounts and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Coordinate with internal team members and functional group members at various levels to provide explanations and resolve issues relating to accounting entries
- Continuously review processes to identify areas for improvement
- Serve as a point of contact, helping associates with queries related to purchase requisitions, and as a point of contact of accounts payable (AP) processes
Requirements
- Bookkeeper type 2
- 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper
- Knowledge in NetSuite- advantage
- English (writing and speaking) - high level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with global vendors
- Passion for quick learning and applying new skills and technologies
- Highly motivated with an ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving and analytical skills within a fast-paced and challenging environment
