As an Experience Design Vice President within the CoBrand Card team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and services. You will leverage your deep knowledge of design and research practices to lead strategically important initiatives and develop innovative solutions that align with business requirements and user needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute design/research strategies for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Diagram service flows and product features, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touch points.
- Role-model the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentoring junior designers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes.
- Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in user experience design or similar roles.
- Ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines.
- Proven ability to develop experiences that meet or exceed initial proposals, including transformational innovation strategies.
- Advanced technical literacy, including understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, and Microservices.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience designing and maintaining complex enterprise tools.
- Interest in configuration and workflow management tools, as well as API management tools.
- Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations and Interest in brand strategy.
- Experience or interest in visual, experience, or service design for retail, travel, dining, or entertainment.
