The Executive, Treasury Processing (Forex and Derivative Unit) will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of validation and process Forex, Derivatives, Foreign Currency Money Market and Fixed Income transactions across multiple jurisdictions (Hong Leong Bank Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore Branches) in compliance with regulatory guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciliation of payment within the treasury operations. This role reports to the Unit Head, Forex and Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. To process and authorize transactions related to:

Forex - Corporate and Interbank.

CSA Collateral
-
Foreign currency fixed income
-
Funds Transfer
-
Options
-
Futures
-
Equity
-
Structured products
2. Reconciliation
-
Monitor and perform SWIFT confirmation matching in SWIFT Matcher (MT300, MT320, MT305) to ensure all confirmations are accurately matched.

Reconcile the outstanding nostro items related to treasury transactions, payment in Murex against Enterprise Payment Platform (EPP) and futures to ensure the transactions are in Acknowledge Copy (ACK) status.
3. Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Update the Global Markets Middle Office if counterparty change their settlement instruction for Middle office to update in the Murex system accordingly.

Review SOP if there are any changes and participate in process improvements initiatives of new forex and derivatives products .
4. Reporting

Prepare and submit timely regulatory reporting to non-compliance/breaches.

Prepare audit confirmation letter upon auditor request.
5. Others Duties
-
Ensure proper administration of the department including recommending, monitoring and controlling annual expenditure budget.

Contribute in Quality initiatives of the Division/Bank to improve both (internal & external) customer service and productivity.

Actively participate in the bank wide campaigns.
Job Requirements
-
Malaysian citizen.
-
Tertiary qualification in Economics, Business, Finance, Banking or other equivalent disciplines.

Candidates with 1 years and above working experience in the treasury field. Fresh graduates are invited to apply.

Working proficiency in English (written & spoken), strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
