Job Description

Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Executing procurement process by adhering to the company procurement policy and implement best global purchasing practices.
• Address technical or registration issues with suppliers that may affect the creation of POs, the use of catalogs, E-sourcing, E-invoicing, and business continuity. 
• Provide process or technical guidance to internal stakeholders in Supplier Management & Assurance.
• Liaise with suppliers, Business requestors, and the account payable team when troubleshooting the supplier onboarding process.
• Analyze the requirement and guide internal stakeholders on selecting the vendors who have capabilities from the IFS supplier base
• Provide insight based on the processed data on the supplier onboarding process to support management decision
• Effective communication with the external and internal stakeholders.
• Keep track of all communications with the supplier and integrate data between platforms. 

Recommended Skills:

Essential

• Well-skilled in Microsoft Word, excel and outlook
• Goal-oriented, organized team player with accurate attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of information gathering, analysis, and interpretation. 
• Excellent ability to create relationships with both internal and external customers. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 
• Ability to develop active internal networks and understand the IFS operational framework quickly. 
• Eager to learn new abilities and build competence. able to adapt to change. 

Desirable

• Previous experience with ERP systems - Dynamic Navision, SAP, etc.
• 2-3 years of professional exposure supporting a global P2P function in a hands-on capacity.
• Preferred 1 to 2 years of working experience in the P2P process
• Prior experience in the IT industry
• Experience with procurement policies and category management.

Essential

• Possess or Pursuing Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management and Logistics

Desirable

• Possess or Pursuing Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualification
