Overview:

Blue Yonder is seeking a creative and eloquent Corporate Storytelling Strategist to join our Marketing team to translate our executive and corporate messages into visually compelling presentations for use with executive audiences, media, and large-stage presentations. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our corporate events and media engagements by designing and developing impactful PowerPoint presentations and other visual storytelling assets.  The ideal candidate must be a master storyteller and creative thinker with exceptional PowerPoint and design skills, incredible attention to detail, and a proven ability to turn complex messages into engaging visuals. 

Scope:

  • Draft and design high-quality executive presentations for conferences, customer meetings, internal associate meetings, and analyst and media engagements.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, communications, marketing, brand, industry strategy, product, and others to understand needs and create clear and impactful designs.
  • Maintain a repository of executive presentation materials for future access and reference.

What you will do:

  • Work collaboratively with senior executives, subject matter experts, and marketing leadership to convert complex concepts, messages, and data into engaging visuals and narratives, including graphics, illustrations, infographics, charts, and multimedia elements.  
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations and other visual assets, such as graphics and infographics, to effectively communicate key messages and data points.  
  • Ensure that presentation designs align with brand guidelines and visual identity standards.  
  • Gather relevant insights and data to support and enhance the impact of presentations.  
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in visual storytelling and presentation design.  
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on storytelling techniques and visual communication strategies.  
  • Manage the review process, incorporating feedback to refine presentation materials.  
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and agencies as needed to support presentation design and production.
  • Manage a small team of presentation designers

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in visual storytelling, presentation design, or a related role. 
  • B2B experience working in the software industry preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation software, with advanced skills in creating visually compelling presentations.
  • Strong graphic design skills, with the ability to create custom graphics, icons, and infographics.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to distill complex concepts into clear and concise visual messages.
  • Solid understanding of business concepts and executive-level messaging.
  • Attention to detail and a strong eye for design aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a range of personalities and establish effective relationships across corporate, regional, and global teams.

The salary range for this position is: USD $ 119,000.00 - $132,738.45

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
