Key Responsibilities
Step into this strategic role using your AI expertise, especially in generative and agentic technologies, to influence executive decision making, translate cutting-edge trends into practical strategies, and navigate implementation complexities - seeing your vision drive real-world impact.

Shape and Drive AI Strategy: Define, articulate, and champion the bank-wide AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and incorporating the latest advancements in agentic and generative AI.

Engage and Influence Leadership: Partner with and advise senior executives across the bank, building consensus and securing support for strategic AI initiatives and investments.

Provide Global AI Insights & Thought Leadership: Act as the bank's leading expert on AI trends, sharing global best practices, competitor insights, and potential impacts of emerging technologies like GenAI and agentic systems to inform strategic decisions.

Champion Responsible AI: Embed principles of responsible and ethical AI development and deployment throughout the strategy and its execution, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and community expectations.
Qualifications & Experience

Strategic Leadership Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing technology or AI strategy, gained in a leading AI research organisation, a global technology leader, a top-tier consulting firm or a senior in-house strategy role within a complex organisation.

Deep AI Expertise: Extensive knowledge and practical understanding of the AI landscape, including machine learning, natural language processing, and specifically, the latest trends, capabilities, and implications of Generative AI and Agentic AI systems.

Structured Problem-Solving Mastery: Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business and technical challenges, synthesise information, and develop clear, actionable strategic recommendations, particularly in the context of AI adoption.

Executive Influence & Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to diverse audiences, build strong relationships, and effectively influence senior stakeholders and C-level executives.

Financial Services Acumen (Preferred): Understanding of the banking and financial services industry, its challenges, and opportunities for AI application is highly desirable.
