This is an exceptional opportunity to join CBA’s Group Secretariat team, whose unifying intent is: “Together, shaping and inspiring excellence.” Our team provides corporate governance advice and corporate secretariat services to the Boards of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and its subsidiaries.

Do work that matters

You will play a key role in providing Board Coordinator and Executive Assistant support to the General Manager Deputy Company Secretary.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating coordinated activities and communications relating to meeting administration and governance
  • Coordinating and collating board and committee papers for review and assisting with the distribution of documents via Diligent Boards
  • Assisting with the drafting of CBA Board and Committee agendas, template minutes, and circular resolutions
  • Maintaining and filing corporate filings, minutes and statutory records in electronic and paper form, including updating corporate registers
  • Providing proactive and timely support to the Group Secretariat team to ensure the smooth running of CBA Board and Committee meetings
  • High level administration and diary management for the General Manager Deputy Company Secretary
  • General administration and project management support, as required

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Considerable prior experience, preferably working at an ASX listed company
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to prioritise deadlines, adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Highly motivated team player with a personal commitment to exceptional service and a collaboration across teams and offices
  • Experience in Diligent Boards or a similar product
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An appreciation for confidential matters and discretion
