The candidate would be expected to:
- assist the implementation of BNM’s Insurance and Takaful System Redevelopment (“ITSR”)
- assist in the financial statement close process from MFRS 4 to MFRS 17 to TOSS reporting
The incumbent would also ideally have exposure to insurance or Takaful technical accounting and is fluent in understanding and applying financial reporting standards to the respective regional reporting process. There will be various interactions with parties external to the Company, including internal and external auditors, Bank Negara officials and other stakeholder. The incumbent is also expected to have good communication skills, strong networking ability to positively influence counterparties and possess the character to provide deliverables within stipulated timelines.
- Support the Manager of Financial Reporting by producing various local reporting requirements
- Assist in the design and implementation of BNM’s ITSR
- Ensures compliance with local and international accounting standards, statutory regulations, and any other financial related requirements.
- Provides support to the Manager of Financial Reporting by supervising the financial reporting process.
- Provide risk management support to the Senior Manager/Manager of Financial Reporting.
- Other ad-hoc activities deemed necessary to support Finance functions.
