Job Summary
This role is responsible for spearheading HCSC's Data Consumption Domain teams. This position is designed to lead and guide the leaders of teams responsible for developing, deploying, and managing innovative data-driven solutions that meet the organization's business needs. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership in creating robust data architectures, analytics solutions, and business intelligence platforms that deliver actionable insights and support decision-making across the broader HCSC data community of approximately 2,000 members. You will also drive the strategic implementation of a unified data platform, emphasizing delivery consistency and reusability across a workforce of over 400 staff members.
Strategy Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the development of consumption data products.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data products, from ideation to launch and eventual retirement.
- Define and execute the strategy for business data solutions, ensuring alignment with key business priorities and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of leaders, fostering a high-performing environment for data professionals, including architects, engineers, and analysts.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand challenges, identify data needs, and develop solutions that enhance operational performance and decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on data management and business solutions.
- Promote best practices in data management, quality, and security
Core Operational and Delivery Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency across all product roadmaps and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end product management of data solutions, from data collection and processing to advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Lead the implementation of cloud-based data solutions and modern data architectures, such as lake houses and real-time data processing.
- Coordinate with Delivery Governance to align product delivery roadmaps with the broader organizational delivery roadmap & strategy.
- Manage and track product-level metrics to ensure consistent delivery through a product-focused mindset.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and approaches to enhance data solutions.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field and 15 years of data and analytics experience OR 19 years of data and analytics experience
- 7 years of management or leadership experience
- Knowledge of HCSC’s business processes and function across all LOBs
- Knowledge of data platforms used processing, visualizing, and analyzing data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
