We are looking for an Executive Compensation Partner to join our global Total Rewards team. Reporting to our Sr. Director, Executive Compensation, you will be a key player on the team that is responsible for compensation strategy and the management of executive and equity compensation programs across the globe. To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to think strategically, execute thoughtfully, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct research, analysis, and modeling to assess executive compensation programs including fixed compensation, short-term incentive plans, and long-term equity programs.
  • Support delivery of equity compensation including preparation of quarterly RSU grants, PSU attainment calculations, and equity budget administration.
  • Oversee administration of the executive bonus plan and non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
  • Assist in preparation of materials for Compensation Committee meetings and management reviews, collaborating with key internal stakeholders and external compensation consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC regulations and corporate governance guidelines. Assist in the preparation, analysis, and data quality of proxy statements, disclosures, and regulatory filings related to executive compensation.
  • Design and deliver change management plans, communications, and enabling processes.
  • Proactively seek new insights and approaches contributing to the continuous improvement of total reward programs and processes.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field – or – have equivalent experience, education, and training
  • Minimum 4-6 years of required experience in a Compensation Analyst role with an emphasis on executive compensation; solid understanding of executive compensation regulations, principles, practices, and trends
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Ability to effectively interface across all levels of the organization


Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$106,900$169,100 USD

The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:

$128,200$202,700 USD
