Executive and Personal Assistant’s at Harrods work to ensure our leaders are able to focus on their primary objective; delivering our mission and business strategy. They have impeccable front-of-house etiquette and are able to skilfully sort the urgent from the important, expertly managing the schedule for the working week.

We are now looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) to support within our C Suite on a 8 month fixed term contract for maternity cover. It is an office based role in Knightsbridge.

About the Role

The Executive Assistant (EA) will strategically and operationally partner to understand goals, priorities and ways of working to provide seamless support and to ensure the smooth running of the office and business objectives.

You will also:

  • Skilfully manage shifting priorities and provide practical solutions enabling the efficient and effective running of the office and the wider organisation
  • Work collaboratively and build a strong network of peers and stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ensure any urgent activity is prioritised and competing priorities are managed effectively through positive and appropriate influencing
  • Support with coordination and organisation of employee events e.g. All-Hands, Townhalls, Seasonal activities etc
  • Act as a point of contact for all incoming communication and will be adept at being able to prioritise appropriately, anticipating needs and identifying blockers all whilst exercising tact and diplomacy in handling a range of situations
  • Prepare high quality documents, presentations, agendas, reports and any other material to ensure time is maximised and utilised efficiently and pro-actively; all in line with Harrods guidelines
  • Assist with all other administrative tasks as needed.

About You

You will have extensive experience in an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant role at C Suite level. You will have a meticulous eye for detail and are a highly organised individual who is able to multi-task in a fast paced, ever moving and sometimes time pressured environment.

You will be able to meticulously manage complex calendars with shifting priorities both internally and externally, using initiative to problem solve and will do so with discretion, sensitivity and attention to detail.

You have excellent communication skills mirroring that of those you are supporting and representing at all levels of the organisation exercising tact and diplomacy in handling a range of situations.
