Department OverviewMotorola Fixed Video provides trusted security solutions to the global market. This division of Motorola comprises the Pelco, Multi-Sight, IndigoVision, and Avigilon brands. Together, they design, develop, and manufacture video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Avigilon’s solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.
Job Description
The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of consistently providing top-quality, administrative support to members of the Video executive team and supporting employee communication initiatives.

Perform administrative duties for supported teams ie: meeting coordination, report preparation, travel support, expense reports, event coordination, etc.

Work with various internal organizations (ie Social committee) to identify opportunities to build stronger culture and provide organizational support for those initiatives

Basic Requirements
Reporting to the Vancouver site leadership you will hold a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about building exceptional culture as well as highly efficient and focused.
To be successful in this role you should be/have:

2-4 years administrative support or event planning/coordination experience

Be highly creative and passionate about events that engage, inform, and motivate

Experience in hybrid event models (virtual events, streaming)

Ability to work in a diverse and multinational team. Great level of social/ interpersonal skills. Present high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information (delivered by verbal and written channels).

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good planning and time management. Able to prioritize working tasks and accurate in allocating necessary time to complete it. Acting with the right level of urgency to situations and events requiring immediate response.

Self-starter with the aptitude to make individual decisions with little or no guidance.

Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.

Problem solving attitude, able to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
