Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Administrative Assistant to provide top-tier support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)) in Arlington, VA. This dynamic role requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to assist senior Department of Defense (DoD) leadership. You will be at the forefront of facilitating daily operations, managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless workflow in a fast-paced and highly visible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings, and communicate changes promptly to staff and stakeholders.
  • Prepare briefings, review correspondence, and ensure documents are accurate and properly formatted.
  • Attend meetings, document notes, track taskers, and provide updates to the team.
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including booking, itineraries, and expense reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with government travel policies.
  • Assist with onboarding tasks, such as equipment setup, account creation, and workspace arrangements for new team members.
  • Maintain rosters, calendar invites, and address lists, ensuring seamless communication and team integration.
  • Handle multiple assignments in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks to meet leadership requirements.

Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting senior DoD leadership.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; proven ability to build effective relationships and foster collaboration in a dynamic team environment.
  • Attributes: Positive attitude, proactive mindset, flexibility, and the ability to handle shifting priorities with tact and professionalism.
