Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Media Product Owner with expertise in both paid and organic media to lead the development and optimization of media platforms, tools, and delivery channels. This role sits at the intersection of product, media, and technology, supporting our media buying agency, SEO initiatives, and digital performance strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search, social, programmatic, native, display advertising, SEO, CRO, and user journey optimization to drive lead generation, monetization, and ROI improvements.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, media strategy, and engineering, to ensure we leverage the best tools and channels for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Media Optimization

· Analyze and manage paid media channels, including search, social, programmatic, native, and display to enhance efficiency and scalability.

· Execute monetization and conversion tests to drive Cost of Media (CoM) down and improve campaign ROI.

· Develop and lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for new paid media strategies and tools.

SEO and Organic Performance Optimization

· Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and lead generation for B2B and B2C websites.

· Oversee technical SEO, content performance, and link-building strategies.

· Drive CRO initiatives to optimize conversion rates across organic and owned channels.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and UX/UI

· Partner with design and engineering teams to refine user experiences that enhance engagement and conversions.

· Optimize the consumer journey using data-driven insights and A/B testing methodologies.

Product Roadmap and Development Execution

· Translate media and marketing strategies into product requirements and development tickets.

· Work closely with developers to prioritize feature enhancements and align technology investments with business goals.

· Ensure the successful integration and scalability of third-party media and SEO tools.

Media Platform and Tool Evaluation

· Conduct comprehensive evaluations of media tools and platforms, including vendor comparisons and feature assessments.

· Use RICE (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort) analysis to prioritize and recommend whether to build, buy, or partner for new solutions.

· Implement UX tools (e.g., Pendo, Heap) to evaluate user behaviors and optimize conversion paths.

Collaboration and Communication

· Act as a bridge between product, media, and engineering teams, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies.

· Provide thought leadership on the intersection of product and media, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.

· Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Experience:

· 5+ years as a Product Owner, preferably in a media buying agency, ad tech, or digital marketing-focused organization.

· Experience driving B2C leads through paid and organic channels.

· Proven track record of SEO strategy and performance optimization.

· Demonstrated expertise in CRO, UX/UI, and conversion optimization techniques.

Technical Expertise:

· Strong understanding of search, social, programmatic, native, and display advertising platforms.

· Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap, Pendo).

· Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as they relate to SEO.

· Experience evaluating or integrating media platforms and tools.

Analytical Skills:

· Ability to conduct RICE analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, and business cases for technology decisions.

· Strong ability to analyze performance data, campaign results, and SEO metrics to drive actionable insights.

Product Management:

· Experience translating product roadmaps into actionable development tasks.

· Ability to lead proof-of-concept initiatives and scale successful solutions.

· Strong project management skills to drive cross-functional execution and on-time delivery.

Key Competencies:

· Deep understanding of media platforms, tools, and delivery mechanisms.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex product decisions.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and make data-driven decisions.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
