What can you expect in a Events Manager role with TaskUs:
As a Senior Events Manager & Partnership at TaskUs, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing all corporate events and partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients, ensuring the successful delivery of events that align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record in event management and partnership development.
Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Execution:
-Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all corporate events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, trade shows, and client appreciation events.
-Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and project plans, ensuring events are delivered within scope and budget.
-Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine event objectives, themes, and messaging.
-Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality event delivery.
-Oversee event logistics, including registration, catering, audiovisual requirements, travel arrangements, and onsite coordination.
2. Partnership Development:
-Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant industry organizations, associations, and key influencers to enhance the company's brand visibility and market presence.
-Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential partners, sponsors, and stakeholders, leveraging these connections to drive business growth and create new opportunities.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling partnership proposals, marketing collateral, and promotional materials.
-Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify partnership opportunities that align with the company's objectives.
-Measure and track the success of partnerships, regularly reporting on the outcomes and making recommendations for improvement.
3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
-Manage a team of event coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure successful event execution.
-Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
-Coordinate with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align event strategies with business objectives.
-Work closely with stakeholders to understand their event needs, goals, and expectations, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, preferably in a corporate or BPO environment.
-Proven track record in planning and executing successful corporate events of various scales.
-Strong network of industry contacts and demonstrated experience in partnership development.
-Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
-Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail abilities, ensuring flawless event execution.
-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
-Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
