About the Role
As a Contract Events Marketer at TbT, you will play a key role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and strengthening relationships by leading the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is looking for flexible, project-based work with the potential for ongoing collaboration.
In this role you will

- Coordinate a calendar of events, such as conferences, webinars, workshops, and partner collaborations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Leadership) to align event plans with strategic goals.
- Develop and execute multi-channel promotional campaigns to drive attendance and engagement, including email, social media, and partner outreach.
- Handle event logistics such as venue coordination, registration management, technology setup, speaker preparation, and creation of collateral.
- Capture and track event leads, working closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth follow-up.
- Measure and report on event performance (attendance, engagement, lead quality, ROI) and provide data-informed recommendations for future events.
- Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.
You are the ideal candidate if you have
- 3+ years of experience managing both in-person and virtual events, ideally in EdTech, K-12 education, or mission-driven organizations.
- Strong project management abilities—comfortable balancing multiple events, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you’ll work with internal teams, external partners, and event attendees.
- Creative problem-solving skills and flexibility—events rarely go exactly as planned, and you know how to pivot quickly.
- Experience with marketing and event tools such as Zoom Webinars, Mailchimp, and Salesforce.
- Ability to analyze event performance data and apply insights to improve future events.
- High attention to detail—you catch the small things others miss.
- Passion for education equity and excitement about working with a mission-driven organization.
- Experience working remotely and across time zones.
