About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented ESG Senior Program Manager to lead the development and execution of our ESG reports and disclosures. This role requires a skilled program manager with exceptional writing and research abilities who can drive complex projects, manage cross-functional input, and ensure accurate, compelling storytelling aligned with regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
What You'll Do:

Reporting Strategy & Stakeholder Alignment

Own the strategy and approach for ESG reporting to ensure alignment with the expectations of key stakeholders, including executives, investor relations, customers, and regulators.

Partner cross-functionally to gather insights on stakeholder needs and evolving priorities, ensuring reporting reflects material issues and supports business objectives; including refreshing the double-materiality assessment when appropriate.

Spearhead Gap Closure for ESG Reporting

Lead the closure of gaps for CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) by identifying missing or underdeveloped policies related to material ESG topics, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure ownership and timely development or refinement of required policies.

Project Management & Scheduling
-
Create and maintain detailed production schedules for ESG reporting deliverables.

Track progress, manage timelines, and ensure all milestones are met across multiple stakeholders.

Workiva Platform Ownership
-
Serve as the primary lead for managing the ESG reporting process within the Workiva platform.

Build and maintain Workiva structures, workflows, and permissions to ensure an efficient and controlled content development process.

Train and support internal stakeholders in using the platform for inputting and reviewing content.

Ensure data integrity and version control across all Workiva documents.

Data & Content Collection

Develop and manage efficient processes for collecting and validating information from subject matter experts (SMEs).

Interview SMEs to gather detailed insights and narratives that support ESG strategy and performance.

Content Development

Create comprehensive report outlines and manage the end-to-end writing process for all ESG-related copy.

Ensure messaging aligns with CrowdStrike’s voice, brand, and strategic priorities.

Research relevant background materials, peer reports, industry benchmarks, and regulatory requirements to inform positioning and ensure compliance.

Creative Collaboration

Provide clear creative briefs and design direction to internal or external designers.

Coordinate visual storytelling elements that enhance the impact and clarity of ESG reporting.

Review & Approval Workflow
-
Manage feedback cycles, track and incorporate edits from all reviewers and approvers.

Ensure consistency and accuracy across all final materials.

Legal & Regulatory Alignment
-
Partner closely with Legal to monitor evolving ESG legislation, regulations, and disclosure requirements across jurisdictions.

Ensure reporting practices and disclosures remain compliant and reflect the latest legal guidance and regulatory expectations.

External ESG Inquiries & Disclosure Support
-
Lead the coordination and delivery of ESG-related responses to external requests, including customer RFPs, investor meetings, ratings surveys, and customer ESG questionnaires. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and alignment of all disclosures by working closely with data providers, assurance partners, and subject matter experts.

What You'll Need:
-
10+ years of experience in program or project management, corporate communications, ESG, or a related field.

Proven experience writing or managing content for ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility reports.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple workstreams.

Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to turn technical and data-heavy inputs into clear, engaging narratives.

Experience working cross-functionally with subject matter experts, legal, investor relations, and design teams.

Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD) and evolving regulatory landscape preferred.

Comfortable working with third-party vendors, including assurance providers and consultants.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Sustainability, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $120,000 - $200,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
