ESG Intern

The ESG Intern will be a key member of the ESG team, reporting to the head of DEIB & CSR. The role will be based in Madrid and possible European travel could be required. 
 
The ESG  Intern will work side by side with ESG team to define and ensure adequate and consistent implementation of several strategic DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) & CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) projects. The successful candidate will work with key stakeholders from all countries where the company operates to make sure the company progresses in these fields through defined strategic projects and initiatives across different geographies. 
 
During this process, the ESG Intern will gather scattered information from different sources to be analyzed to develop implications and conclusions that will settle potential new projects. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
The main responsibilities will entail: 

• Contribute in the implementation of our global ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with the ESG strategic framework and key initiatives. 

• Support and get involved in cross-country projects, for which will be expected to: 

• Analyse project impact/ results (highly number driven organization) 

• Support PMO efforts: Maintain 360-degree perspective (on e.g. scope, timing, quality, communication and deliverables) across teams involved 

• Support in the development of solutions, actions and roadmaps to accelerate transformation and mitigate risks, involving stakeholders and senior leaders appropriately 

• Monitor evolution of DEIB & CSR KPIs and develop insights  

• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation

Candidate profile 
 
Requirements 

• Excellent written and spoken English. We are an international company and all our positions whether these are internships or permanent require an excellent command of this language. 

• Ideally you will be able to join us Immediately; however, we will assess each application and your availability on a case by case basis. 

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 

• Great communication skills. 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package (preferred good Excel, Word and Power Point). 

• Ability to prioritise and multi-task. 

• Strong drive and hands-on 

• Innovation and continuous improvement mindset 

Qualifications and knowledge 

• Last year students and/or recent University graduates with degrees such as Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Science, International Commerce, Economy, Marketing, etc. We are seeking individuals with passion for innovation and willing to challenge themselves. 

• Genuine interest in ESG topics. 

• Experience in Strategy Consulting will be valuable.
