Position Summary:
The ERP Systems Administrator's role works specifically with Taco’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and its related technologies and applications. They monitor and execute actions necessary to maintain a stable environment for the ERP system. This role is proficient in application server administration and maintenance.
Measures of success:
- Minimum downtime of ERP System
- Meeting user expectations from assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Effective documentation of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly IT procedures
Responsibilities: (identify functions or the role and expected outcomes)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Works with business system users and Database Administrator (DBA) to help diagnose, fix, and prevent ERP IT-related system issues. Serves as the liaison between the users and DBA to address any issues.
- Works with ERP vendor support for unresolved issues or bugs and creates cases with ERP vendor support.
- Assists DBA with the implementation of ERP modifications, new ERP system integrations, patch releases, and major upgrades.
- Maintains business system security model including security group modifications and creation of accounts.
- Helps develop and maintain all ERP related reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), PowerBI, Epicor Business Activity Query (BAQ) and Dashboards
- Helps facilitate and/or participates in testing with users for ERP-related enhancements and fixes.
- Develops and maintains enterprise labeling system.
- Provides timely customer support to end-users with instruction, training and problem resolution through hands-on support, and excellent oral and written communication.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience working in an Information Technology role with an ERP system, including writing SQL queries, designing SSRS reports, and working in a Microsoft Windows Server environment
- Broad knowledge of ERP systems and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with good interpersonal/customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Travel is optional and limited to professional conferences and other company offices if needed
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Bartender Labeling Software
Work Environment
This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
This position may work from home up to 2X/week if performance is in good standing.
