We are looking for a Equity Compensation Administration expert to join our HR team as the owner of this critical function. This role will report to the Director of Analytics and Compensation and will work across teams in Human Resources, Finance, Payroll and Legal. This individual is responsible for the daily administration of our stock programs, including the analysis and benchmarking of this core compensation program within the United States and Canada. In addition to processing transactions and ensuring data flows smoothly between our equity and payroll platforms, this individual will work with vendors, brokers, executives and our board of directors to provide a world class experience to our employees.

Our corporate office is located in Covington, Louisiana but this position has the option for a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Full equity administration via E*TRADE including award issuance, data and insider trading management, interaction with brokers, quarterly dividend processing, SEC filing support, and financial reporting support.

  • Prepares detailed quarterly reports to be presented to the executive team and the board of directors. 

  • Ensures that all equity transactions including grants, exercises, distributions, and cancellations are accurately processed, settled, and tracked in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Prepares and delivers communications to participants including equity award packets, vesting and tax election notifications, and participant education materials.

  • Monitors and facilitates data transfer between E*TRADE and Workday to ensure proper payments and recording of taxable events.

  • Performs regular audits of recorded information.

  • Supports internal financial and stock compensation reporting processes by providing the necessary data from Workday and E*TRADE to internal teams such as HR, Finance, Payroll and Legal including ad-hoc requests.

  • Provides public filings and disclosures as required.

  • Administers ownership guidelines as requested by executives to determine attainment toward required ownership multiples.

  • Provides assistance to the finance team for Section 16 insider reporting and review filings for accuracy.

  • Assists in the development of communication and training materials for employees and human resources.

  • Participates in market data analysis projects, stock plan benchmarking, and executive salary surveys.

  • Maintains and adheres to necessary documentation as required by relevant laws and regulations.

  • Researches and analyzes programs, processes, and procedures to make recommendations and improvements.

  • Special analysis & other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, human resources, business or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • Three plus years of stock plan administration experience required.

  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP or CEPI) preferred.

  • Experience working in a public company environment on equity taxation, reporting and compliance strongly preferred.

  • Experience with stock plan administration systems such as E*TRADE’s Equity Edge Online, or other similar plan administration systems preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must! Must be able to create pivot tables and VLOOKUPs within Excel.

  • Experience with a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday preferred.

  • Must have strong mathematical and analytical thinking skills and the ability to prepare and analyze large data sets.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality as well as exercise good judgment and integrity in day-to-day decisions.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, adhere to tight deadlines, and build/improve processes.
