Your challenges

Promote the sale of the company's Eppendorf North America products within assigned territory in order to meet budgeted sales goals, covering the territory in its entirety by performing the following duties. Other duties that fall within the skill requirements of the job may be assigned.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers to create demand for Eppendorf North America's products and/or solicit orders. This activity includes both personal visits and contact by phone.

Follows up and processes sales leads, based on information received from company trade shows, marketing campaigns, telephone inquiries and other sources. Develops list of prospective customers on a local level.

Demonstrates product samples to end user customers and distributors.

Trains distributor personnel on proper function and usage of Eppendorf North America products. This will include demo techniques, use of literature, pricing, etc.

Attends trade exhibits and distributor shows for the purpose of promoting products.
Your expertise

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver’s license required. Must maintain a good driving record. Good credit standing and credit card to pay business travel expenses.
