Are you looking for an exciting summer 2025 internship opportunity that allows you to one-on-one training with our experienced Environmental Compliance Coordinators? If so, Enbridge has the perfect opportunity for you!
This position will work within our Environmental Compliance group to support Enbridge's compliance with environmental permits and regulations at natural gas production and distribution facilities.
**During your internship with Enbridge, you may be eligible to receive a lump sum relocation stipend.
What You Will Do:

Working with Environmental Compliance Leadership and Technology and Information Services, you will develop an inventory of contaminated sites within the States of Utah and Wyoming for inclusion within company mapping applications.

You will support routine duties of the Environmental Compliance department including visiting Enbridge Facilities and Construction Sites to assess compliance with environmental permits and regulations and developing recommendations to improve environmental performance.

You will support waste characterization and disposal and collect samples of soil, water, and waste materials for environmental analysis.

You will assist Environmental Compliance Coordinators responding to environmental emergencies occurring in the vicinity of Salt Lake City.

You will have the opportunity to interpret and/or apply environmental requirements to company operations and translate regulatory regulations, permit and plan requirements into understandable compliance guidance.
Who You Are:
Must be in process of obtaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, Biology, Engineering, or other related degree.

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Must have a graduation date of 2027 OR 2026.
Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
