Location: Newport Beach, CA & Irvine, CA
Type of Position: Contract
Environment: 5 days onsite, with weekend availability and overtime as needed
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Technician with a background in hospital or medical facility cleaning. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring all areas meet healthcare sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Dust and sanitize surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas to maintain hygiene.
• Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste following recycling and safety guidelines.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For:
Required:

• Proven experience in janitorial and cleaning services within a hospital or medical facility.
• Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, extractors, bovac, and roto machines.
• Physical stamina for tasks that involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred:

• Basic computer skills, including email and online training course completion.
