Primary responsibilities include collaborating with cross domain stakeholders and IT to design and deliver innovative solutions for our stakeholders. Develops mastery of our technologies and processes, driving to continuously optimize our environment. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction for Entity MDM data. Participates as a team leader aligning globally cross- functional teams or projects that affect HPE’s long-term goals and objectives. Provides mentoring and guidance to team members.

The Entity MDM - Data Innovation Solution Architect develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes cross domains requiring master data for the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment.
The Entity MDM - Data Innovation Solution Architect applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to employees.
The Entity MDM - Data Innovation Solution Architect:
- Develops mastery of our technologies and processes, driving to continuously optimize our environment.
- Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction for Entity MDM data. Participates as a team leader aligning globally cross- functional teams or projects that affect HPE’s long-term goals and objectives.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to team members.
- Develops mastery of master data process and capabilities
- Plan, design, develop, test and deliver solutions to support overall master data global operations framework, including sales strategy and planning requirement, order management, global ops, revenue BU's, etc.
- Consults with senior and executive business leaders to identify relevant analytics, standards and metrics for the assigned areas
- Identifies and evaluates new technologies, process innovations, and partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value
- Creates plans for integration and update into sales operations architecture.
- Supports escalations and problem solves for optimized remediation efforts including interim and long term plans.
- Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence and guide decisions of executive business leadership, sales partners and customers.
Education and Experience Required:
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
- 10+ years experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive experience with big data
- A positive mindset that obsesses over the customer
- Extensive experience designing and developing business-wide sales operations support systems and solutions
- Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
- Understanding the sense of urgency that supports big data
- Extensive expertise in business and sales operations processes and their application to business-wide systems
- The willingness to learn what you don't know
- History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for quality systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mastery in English
- Ability to effectively communicate sales operations architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
