If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat! We are looking for a driven and engaged business development professional to lead the acquisition of Enterprise and large accounts for our platform. Our growth has been achieved due to the passion of our amazing team, and we’re now looking for a like minded and experienced sales professional.

What you’ll be doing

Market Analysis & Strategy Development: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of competition and various retail verticals (grocery, health & beauty, pharmacy, sports, electronics) to create effective acquisition strategies and unique selling propositions.

  • Analyze vertical trends and customer/order potential to inform business cases and commission revenue projections.

Partnership Acquisition:

  • Scope, drive, and manage the acquisition of enterprise and large retail partners in Norway, tailoring approaches to position Wolt as the partner of choice.

  • Identify and engage potential partnerships that enhance Wolt’s portfolio, using data and strategy to assess retailer performance and unit economics.

Sales Process Management:

  • Drive sales processes from initial contact to closing, ensuring systematic management of the pipeline for new partnerships. 

  • Build business cases and analyze commission revenue potential to support partnership proposals and decisions.

  • Develop tailored commercial frameworks, pitch materials, and stakeholder plans for each vertical.

  • Document sales processes, including reporting and CRM updates, while preparing impactful presentations and pitches for potential partners.

  • Ensure a comprehensive and optimal product selection for each retailer on Wolt’s platform.

Negotiation & Stakeholder Alignment:

  • Conduct negotiations regarding partnership terms and align internal and external stakeholders throughout longer sales processes.

  • Participate in international alignment on regional and global accounts to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

  • Establish solid relationships with players at the highest levels of an organization, particularly within the VP, EVP, and C-suite.

Qualifications

  • Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales across Sales, Business Development, and Consultancy roles. Demonstrated expertise in prospecting, pitching, and managing complex sales processes. Skilled in leading long negotiations and delivering measurable results while effectively managing multiple stakeholders.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Norwegian Retail, FMCG, Grocery, or pharmacy sectors is a plus.

  • High Energy & Drive: Passionate about building and creating a portfolio for a newly launched and fast-growing business.

  • Consultative Sales Approach: Proven ability to build relationships and tailor offerings to meet specific partner needs. 

  • Analytical & Commercial Skills: Proficient in translating data into actionable insights, analyzing sales metrics, calculating commissions, and assessing market potential. 

  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present effectively to C-level executives, coupled with excellent communication skills. 

  • Project Management: Experience in developing account strategies, setting up plans and budgets, diagnosing partners’ challenges, and customizing pitches accordingly. 

  • Operational Approach: Demonstrates a proactive attitude and enjoys the pitching process, with strong preparation and negotiation skills. 

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Norwegian and English.
