Within the Risk team of CBA NV we have an exciting new opportunity.
The role:
This opportunity is for an experienced Risk manager to support the Risk team with embedding the Bank's (Enterprise) Risk Management Framework and providing independent review and challenge, advice, monitoring, and oversight of business activities including its risk and controls.
You will support the CBA NV Head of Enterprise Risk and CRO in:
- Consolidated risk reporting to Management and Supervisory Board.
- Managing the annual ICAAP process including integrated stress testing.
- Coordination and oversight of local ESG activities, and liaison for CBA Group Climate & Environmental team on all ESG matters.
- Designing and executing stress tests for ESG and Credit Risk.
- Monthly validation of collection provisions.
- Managing risk and ESG disclosures in the Annual Report and Pillar 3 report.
- Ownership of Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, and ESG Policy documents.
In this role you will be working closely with the Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Business teams in CBA NV, and CBA Group in Sydney.
Education, experience and skills:
- Experience within international bank, brokerage firm and/or consultancy firm and familiar with key concepts of credit risk, operational risk, and market risk.
- Knowledge of EU prudential regulatory requirements and standards, including CRR, and evolving regulatory landscape in the field of Climate-related & Environmental (C&E) risk /ESG.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: operational risk, risk governance, ICAAP, C&E/ESG, stress testing, collective provisions.
- Experienced in consolidated risk reporting and/or regulatory risk disclosures (e.g. Pillar 3, Annual Report).
- Experienced in drafting and maintaining risk framework and policy documents.
- Ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders within and outside the Bank, understand and balance different interests, as well as to identify and implement pragmatic though sustainable solutions within a highly regulated and fast-growing organisation.
- Relevant professional qualification is a bonus (e.g. PRM, FRM).
