PLEASE NOTE: This is a Hybrid position located in our Elmhurst, IL location 2-3 times per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Boyd is actively building our Enterprise Architecture maturity while also delivering solutions for our business stakeholders with small agile teams. The appropriate candidate for this role will mirror that approach - we are looking for somebody who can bring mature Enterprise Architecture best practices to the organization as a champion, but who also can still execute on technology projects, products, and platforms as a solution architect. The role will be focused on defining and driving Enterprise Architecture while also supporting and driving detailed technology solutions across various business and IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture principles and standards.

Aligning technology solutions with business goals and long-term strategies.

Leading enterprise-wide architecture initiatives and roadmaps.

Staying abreast of technology trends and best practices to drive innovation within the company.

Collaborating with senior leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Train and coach peers and software engineers on applying and contributing to enterprise standards.

Ensure technology platforms are aligned and interconnected effectively in a way that supports high availability, security, performance, and reliability.

Providing solution architecture across multiple programs and projects concurrently.
Qualifications:

Experience working as an Enterprise Architect in a mature organization, familiarity with industry standards such as TOGAF or Zachman or an organization grown standards base that includes the key concepts.

Expertise in understanding and adopting emerging technologies.

Expertise in integration patterns and enterprise application integration (EAI).

Knowledge of security principles and compliance requirements.

Solid analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Visionary leadership to set the direction for technology innovation.

Strategic foresight to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.

Executive presence to engage with C-level stakeholders and board members.

Mentorship and coaching skills to develop other technologists.

Previous development experience within Java, JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Vue JS), CSS frameworks, and NodeJS.

Experience with Data, Analytics, and BI including Master Data Management solutions.

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of cloud architecture best practices.

Experienced in Agile Software Delivery, including Scaled Agile

Compensation Details
$150,000 - $190,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
