We partner with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare stakeholders to build a digital tissue in the community for automating access to social care and advancing health equity. As we scale, we’re looking for an ambitious and resourceful Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in State and Local Governments, and Healthcare segments.

We are a fast growing company looking for a mission-driven team player to drive our upcoming growth plans in multiple states. 

This is a hybrid role.

About the Role:

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will own the entire sales cycle—from identifying and researching targets to closing transformative 6- to 7-figure deals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that unlock new opportunities in the government and healthcare sectors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an early-stage environment, is driven by impact, and has the vision to grow beyond existing success. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our products for enterprise partners in the health and human services space. 

We are looking for a person who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is good with constant change as the company experiences explosive growth. If you have been in a start-up and experienced this type of growth, you will be a perfect candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Sales Process: Define and execute an enterprise sales strategy to sell our innovative platform to Government and Healthcare customes
  • Prospecting & Targeting: Leverage a scientist’s mindset to research target organizations, understand funding flows, and identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships with key decision-makers in the Government (state, county, city health/human services) and Healthcare (health systems, health plans) segments.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct engaging and persuasive product demonstrations tailored to the unique requirements of each prospect. Showcase the features and benefits of the Blooming Health product suite, addressing specific pain points and business challenges of Enterprises.
  • Close Deals: Collaborate with potential clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Achieve and exceed a $1M+ annual quota by closing 6- to 7-figure deals.
  • Market Expansion: Collaborate with internal teams to shape our go-to-market strategy and improve sales processes
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, prospects, and deals, using Hubspot.
  • Market and Competitor Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors’ offerings, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge in sales conversations.
  • Ambition & Vision: Push beyond established successes, aiming for transformative, larger-scale deals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Early-Stage Startups: You thrive in ambiguous environments, enjoy building processes, and have contributed to scaling revenue at startups.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven success selling into government (health/human services, aging, Medicaid/Medicare programs) or healthcare (health systems, health plans).
  • Sales Success: A track record of closing 6- to 7-figure deals with a personal quota of $1M-$2M+ annually.
  • Deal Size Expertise: Experience with average deal sizes of $100K+ and closing large deals of $500K+.
  • Scientist’s Mindset: A natural problem-solver who researches deeply, understands market dynamics, and adjusts strategies for success ina data-driven manner.
  • Ambition & Vision: A growth-driven mindset to go beyond existing playbooks and deliver outsized impact.
  • Cultural Fit: A collaborative leader who embodies Blooming Health’s values (empathy, excellence, ownership, integrity, win together, growth mindset, challenge norms) and works toward shared success.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot or similar CRM software to manage leads, track sales activities, send sequences, and maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach that is self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Ability to operate effectively and adapt to the changing environment in an early stage startup with a growth mindset. 
  • Comfortable with travel to customer sites and to work with Blooming Health team members in person as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing network in government or healthcare sectors.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, or SDOH (Social Determinants of Health).
