Job Description
The Engineering Team Leader is responsible for a team of engineers in the Capability & Innovation organization that develop and support the future of Network and Computer Infrastructure Rockwell services, evaluation of technology partners, maintenance of platforms, working with delivery to deploy processes, and on new launch service offerings.
The engineering lead will work with the product and project managers to lead continuous improvements around agile and adherence to process for launching new service offerings. You will also lead aspects of our strategy process and the creation of a technology roadmap and supporting innovation activities. The Engineering team lead will report to the Contract Engineering Manager. You will be hybrid and work onsite at Mayfield Heights, OH or Chicago, IL.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring, career planning/management, feedback, and direction to a direct team of engineers.
- Implement engineering development responsibilities for assigned service launches and programs.
- Collaborate with teams (internal and external).
- To roll out agile best practices and help promote best practices around technology evaluation and maintenance.
- Help support multiyear technical roadmaps and cultivate innovation within the engineering team.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- .Bachelors degree or equivalent in years of experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- The ability to travel up to 10%.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- 8+ years' experience and results in an automation engineering role leading the engagement and maintenance with the delivery team related MSP/MSSP/RMM
- Network infrastructure / computer operating certifications
- 3+ years of Network and Compute infrastructure
- An understanding of a cloud environment (Azure preferable)
- Network and computer and software enabled infrastructure architecture design experience.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages.
- Lead technology evaluation / POCs/ POVs.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $155,600.00 - $233,400.00 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
