Intern

What's the role?
Contribute to overall software development efforts for the service using programming languages like Java, Scala, Python and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and AWS cloud service/tools.
Supports deployment and testing of the service in multiple environments
Who are you?
Hands on experience using Java/Scala, Python
Knowledge on Distributed data/computing tools like Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Kafka .. etc
Strong Knowledge and understanding on Data Structures/Algorithms
Knowledge on Shell scripts
Expertise in working with SQL & NOSQL databases.
Expertise with container environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in working with cloud technologies (Preferable AWS)
Familiar with CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins etc)
Familiar with Agile engineering practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
This is a full-time paid internship (20 to 40 hours per week) with a fixed hourly rate of depending on your level of education as follows:
Undergraduate Students: $25/hr
Graduate Students: $30/hr
PhD Students: $35/hr
