The position / About the Job:
In this job the Sr. Support (Machine Programming) would be responsible for:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Preparing CNC machines programming & proving components on DMG 5 Axis, Mori Seiki turning m/c, Goratu Turning m/c, Sun firm/ other Turn mill, Mitsubishi HMC, etc with Fanuc & siemens control.
- Tool path generation in cam software (Edge cam 2022 R1)
- Preparation of process sheets & Time study activity.
- Improvement of cutting Tools and methods for productivity.
- Designing of Tool/jigs/fixture for process improvement.
- Selection of cutting tools, Cost estimation & follow up.
- Preparation & modification of tool drawings in Auto CAD.
- Should know problem solving techniques regarding shopfloor activities.
- Supporting PRP, KIZEN, 5S, SOP, Lean projects on shop
- Manage small project’s from EPD / CAPEX / Operational plan / Productivity as & when assigned.
- Should have knowledge of Machining, Casting, Forging, Fabrication, etc process.
- Having knowledge of ERP system like MOVEX, Handling of design notifications will be added advantage.
- Resolving Assembly related issues.
- Support to Production and ALPS by solving SQDC cards related to engineering department.
- Raising design change request as & when required.
- Visit Suppliers for development of new parts of NPD / EPD Projects.

Qualifications & experience:
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical from reputed University/ Collage with good academic record.
- 3 to 8 years of Experience in similar industry with similar job profile
- CNC machines programming & proving components on DMG 5 Axis, Mori Seiki turning m/c, Goratu Turning m/c, Sun firm/ other Turn mill, Mitsubishi HMC, etc.
- Various mfg. process knowledge like Casting, Forging, machining etc.
- Excellent Drawing understanding.
- Microsoft (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
- Knowledge of One PLM (Teamcenter)
- Knowledge of CAM software (like Edge CAM)

- Used to work independently but gets energy from being part of a team that helps and care for each other.
